- I am the mother of one precocious, vivacious daughter. I am a wife, daughter, friend. A lover of food and wine and travel. I am a Midwestern girl living in San Francisco. When I find the time, I read and knit and cook more extravagantly than usual. My policy career is on hold, and I imagine the new directions that I may one day take. So much changes on this unexpected journey.
